There are four Cloud Computing Deployment Models, three Cloud Service Delivery Models and an increasing number of vendors. Private Cloud Computing is an IT infrastructure designed and operated solely for a particular organization. It may be managed by the organization or a third party and may exist on or off the organization's premise. Private Clouds, while more expensive to operate, offer the highest level of security and governance and so for some, are the best - or only - choice.
